The RFA Varsity Girls Soccer squad will begin it's run at the Section 3 title at home Tuesday vs. Nottingham. That same Nottingham team opted to not travel to RFA Stadium this past Thursday to play the Lady Knights on Senior Night. This decision apparently allowed the (6-8-1) Nottingham girls entry into the Section 3 playoffs. The second playoff game is scheduled for Liverpool at 4:00pm on Thursday (October 26) on the grass field. It will mark the third consecutive year RFA has played Liverpool on their home (grass, not the stadium turf) field. Liverpool won the previous two playoff games by scores of 1-0 in 2004 and 2-0 in 2005 (the second goal coming at the end of that contest). This sequence of events allows our Lady Knights the opportunity to avenge their previous defeats at the hands (feet?) of Liverpool, as well as to remind Nottingham why they made the decision to stay home rather than celebrate Senior Night at the Stadium.

Reminder that the Bottle and Can Drive is Saturday, September 16 at Lee Town Park. Varsity and JV 10am-12pm. Freshman and Modified 12:30-2:30pm. Be There.
